Upcoming Events
- July 30: Youth Clinic for the kids of Good Guides and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Volunteers needed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Triebel Memorial Pitch, Walnut Ridge Park, off Rocky Springs Road. Enjoy refreshments after a day of sharing rugby with these special youngsters.
- August 9: First fall 15s practice/informational meeting, 7:30-9 p.m., Guido's in downtown Frederick -- followed by bar crawl to celebrate Nikki's 21st birthday!
- August 13: FRFC Pig Roast, Award Ceremony and Full Moon Jamboree Spectacular at Warner Farm, Dickerson ($20 individual/$30 couple)
- August 20-21: Atlantic Cup tournament
- August 27-28: Pumpkinfest tournament
- September 10: First matrix game of the fall 15s season, @ Doylestown (ALSO: In the Streets festival ... those not playing in Doylestown are needed to represent the women at the FRFC booth)
- September 11, October 9, October 23: FWRFC hosts the Washington D.C. Furies' WPL matches at the Triebel Memorial Pitch

Touch Rugby at Walnut Ridge Today: Girls Only!
Hey, all you lady ruggers and huggers and wannabes: Come out to our home pitch at Walnut Ridge Park off Rocky Springs Road in Frederick to learn an awesome version of TOUCH rugby -- this is NO contact, NO tackle but TONS of fun and good exercise.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you've never played rugby or have played for years. We'll all learn the game together from some visiting players from Columbia (Md.) Touch Rugby: http://www.columbiatouchrugby.com/. Then we'll play for 1.5-2 hours and then have lunch and brewskis after!
