Drink of the Day: Hurricane, New Orleans Style: 1 oz white rum, 1 oz Jamaican dark rum, 1 oz Bacardi® 151 rum, 3 oz orange juice, 3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice, 1/2 oz grenadine syrup, crushed ice. Combine all ingredients, mix well (shake or stir). Pour over crushed ice in hurricane glass. Best enjoyed through a small straw. Garnish with fruit wedge if desired.

Here is the website you can go to and access the Frederick Women's Rugby Football Club's USA rugby membership: https://membership.usarugby.org/default.aspx . Every player: Current or Rookie must access this page and either create or renew an individual membership.

 

Here's How:

1. Click Create/Renew Individual Membership
2. Complete the form with your information and answer either Yes, you're a current or former member of USA rugby or No, I have never been a member of USA rugby or I have not registered since 2005.
1.  Follow these instructions
1. Waiver Page: Read waiver, check boxes, hit accept waiver (Don't worry about printing waivers, If you do great, otherwise I can print them out and have you sign them)
2. Fill out primary Contact Information, hit continue
3. You are a player; senior division; Frederick Women's Rugby Football Club, select Save (Cost is $45)
4. Click Check Out at bottom of page
5. Put in payment information (Credit Card)
6. Last page is confirmation page: it will be emailed to you
7. CONGRATS YOURE COMPLETE :-)

Just a reminder: Current memberships from the last year are good until Aug. 31. If you are a rookie you must be CIPPed before our first game on Aug. 27. Players with current memberships must be CIPPed before our first matrix game on Sept. 10. But you're encouraged to do it before then, considering if you are CIPPed and something happens to you traveling to and from practice or games, or at practice, you are covered by the newly added insurance USA rugby is offering :-) Let us know if you have questions!

FRFC Pigapalooza Tomorrow (8/13)!

We are hours away from all the fun....Soooooooo.....here are the final details!!!
 
First....The golf tournament for Saturday has been canceled.....so get some extra sleep, grab lunch at home, and come on out to the farm for Pigapolooza!!!!!
 
1.  Pigapooloza starts at 2:00pm!
Gates open at 2pm!!!  Plenty of beer and shade for all....so come on out early and hang with the crew.  There will be rounds of cornhole starting early.....got a partner yet????

2.  Big Pig Sumo Tournament starts at 4:00pm!
We have tons of prizes to give away for each win that you can muster....guaranteed four matches....mens and womens divisions.  Bring some extra clothes to change into after you are done...You may work up a sweat......THIS IS GONNA BE INTENSE.......AND HILARIOUS!!!!!

3.  Dinner starts at 6:30pm!
110 lbs of Slow Roasted Pig over a Wood Fire.  Veggi Burgers.  Cornmeal Dusted Rolls.  BBQ Sauce.  Coleslaw.  Creamy Potato Salad.  Italian Pasta Salad.  Cherry and Peach Cobbler with Whipped Topping.  Sodas and Water.

4.   2011 Spring Awards!
Following dinner the mens and womens team awards will be given out!!!!  Come collect your mugs and toast the winners!!!!

5.  The Frederick Rugby Raffle
Time for free stuff...Over $1000 in gift certificates and free gear will be given away!!!  Ya thats right...over $1000 worth!  You do the math...your chances at winning are AWESOME!!!

Touch rugby 8/3 and an oops!

Women are playing touch at 7 Wednesday at Walnut Ridge. All are welcome! Just wear something to sweat in (and possibly get rained on a bit), and cleats if you have them
